Sometimes the best place to start is a conversation.
We’re exploring opportunities to bring parents together to share experiences, learn from one another and build a supportive community.
Our ambition is to create welcoming spaces where parents can connect with others who understand some of the challenges separation and family proceedings can bring.
We’re exploring regular, potentially weekly meetups where parents can connect, share experiences and support one another.
We’d like to develop online opportunities for parents who cannot attend in person.
Over time, we hope to create opportunities to share practical information, lived experiences and useful educational resources.
Inclusive, child-focused, supportive, respectful and non-judgemental. We want to build a safeguarding-aware community where people can share constructively and take responsibility for what they say.
That means protecting privacy and never publicly identifying or attacking former partners, children, judges, solicitors or family justice professionals. Shared experiences are not a substitute for professional legal advice.
