Who handles your enquiry
K.I.D.S. is a founder-led initiative operated by David Walsh. David is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact d.walsh8716@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
The contact form asks for your name, email address, reason for enquiry and message. We use these details to read and respond to your enquiry. Providing them is voluntary, but we need an email address to reply. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and protecting the website against misuse. The privacy checkbox confirms that you have read this notice; it does not subscribe you to marketing. Please do not send children’s names, court documents, case numbers, medical information or sensitive allegations. This is a general enquiry service, not a secure case-management service. It does not accept uploads. If unnecessary sensitive information is received, David will delete it rather than use it for case assessment.
How messages are delivered
The website is hosted on Railway. Resend delivers your message to David’s Gmail mailbox, provided by Google. The sending address currently uses David’s existing verified Essential Resourcing email domain; enquiries are handled for K.I.D.S. and are not added to recruitment or marketing lists. These providers process information needed to run their services under their applicable terms and privacy arrangements, and processing may take place outside the UK. We do not claim that all information stays in the UK. The application does not maintain an enquiry database or log message bodies. A private Redis service on Railway stores only a keyed, hashed identifier derived from a connecting IP address and an attempt count to deter repeated submissions. These entries expire automatically after 15 minutes. Hosting and email providers can also retain operational logs and delivery records under their own service settings.
How long information is kept
David will delete ordinary enquiry emails within 90 days after the conversation ends, unless an ongoing request, complaint or legal obligation requires longer retention. Where a longer period is necessary, only relevant information will be retained and the reason reviewed. This is a mailbox-handling policy, not an automatic deletion feature of this website. Provider logs, deleted-item folders and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Other rights may apply depending on the circumstances. Contact David using the address above; requests will normally be answered within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Tracking and updates
The website does not use enquiry information for automated decisions, profiling or marketing subscriptions. No advertising trackers, analytics scripts or Facebook embeds are installed. Links to Facebook and other websites have their own privacy policies.
